Waiting for several rounds below 2x before checking a target is a condition that can be described historically. This guide explains how to inspect it without treating it as a next-round signal.
Define the question and window
Specify the platform, streak length, multiplier intervals, target and sample window. Different intervals and windows answer different questions and should not be mixed.
Check triggers and gaps
The total round count is not the number of valid triggers. Check the time window, valid sample and gaps. A high proportion in a small sample is not a stable conclusion.
The limits of historical descriptions
A waiting condition selects past observations but guarantees no future outcome. This page claims no completed study of a particular size across four platforms; use the actual results returned by the tools.
